PRP or platelet-rich plasma is used to restore or encourage hair growth. A standard blood draw from your arm is placed into a machine called a centrifuge. This machine spins the blood in a tube to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. Plasma is rich in platelets that, when injected directly into the scalp at the level of hair follicles, encourages hair regrowth.


Injections begin across the scalp, approximately at every half inch over the area of thinning hair. The entire process takes about 30-minutes or less.


The procedure carries low risk, and while there is marginal discomfort with PRP hair restoration, the downtime is minimal, For best results we strongly recommend committing to a consecutive 6 treatments. Additional treatments may be spaced at 3-6 months to maintain hair restoration.
